THE COOPER ISLAND STORY
Cooper Island is a small atoll in the British Virgin Islands.
Once a sugar cane plantation and military garrison, the enigmatic island was named for the Coopers who came to collect the native white cedar used for making rum barrels in the 19th century. Dotted with powdery white beaches and a beautiful sail boat anchorage, this paradise has a magnificent view of Sir Francis Drake Channel and Tortola, BVI.
Cooper Island Rum is distilled by March First Brewing and Distilling in Cincinnati, Ohio to evoke the experience of visiting this enchanted place without leaving home.
